Attorney Lowell K. Levy

Lowell K. Levy started the firm in 1953. Attorney Levy focuses his practice in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, complex estate planning and probate strategies, and business law for small and large businesses.

Attorney Levy received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1951. Thereafter he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1952. Attorney Levy is admitted to practice before the Wisconsin circuit and appellate courts. He is a member of the Ozaukee County Bar Association (past president) and the Real Property and Litigation sections of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Attorney Levy also serves as an Ozaukee County Circuit Court Commissioner.

Attorney Levy has been associated with numerous other professional and civic organizations. Before his legal career, Attorney Levy served his country in the Navy in World War II. He has continued to serve his community in many ways, including serving 33 years as the Cedarburg City Attorney, and served 15 years on the Board of Trustees at Lasata Care Center. Attorney Levy is a member of the Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary Club (past president, his contributions as a Rotarian were recognized when he was awarded the title of Paul Harris Fellow), a charter member of the American Legion--Howard J. Schroeder Post #457, a member of Ducks Unlimited, the Elk Foundation, and a member of Safari Club International-Wisconsin Chapter (Chapter President 2001 and 2002).

Mr. Levy successfully litigated the leading case in Wisconsin, Rintelman v. Rintelman, 118 Wis.2d 587 (1984), that allows divorcing parties to negotiate binding agreements which the trial court could not otherwise order.
